Sellersburg, Indiana

Vernard Frederick Burr, 92, entered eternal life on Thursday, March 05, 2020 at his home.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army during WWII and retired from Louisville Cement Company after 44 years.  Vernard was also a member of the Hamburg Church of Christ.  He is survived by his loving wife, Alma Burr, Sellersburg, daughter, Paula (Kenneth) Pettit, Jeffersonville, Zelma Owsley, Sellersburg, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 9AM until the time of service.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
