Verda D. Harbin, passed away peacefully at her home in Otisco, Indiana on Friday, January 15, 2021. She was 88.  She was born on August 31, 1932 to the late Jay and Pearl Jones (Hatton) in Montgomery County, Kentucky. Verda attended church at the Branham Tabernacle of Jeffersonville. She enjoyed sewing, and her art work. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Sidney, her sister-in-laws, Geraldine and Margarette and by her granddaughters, Felicia and Miranda.

Survivors include her sons, Bobby Lewellen (Tammy) of Charlestown, Dan Lewellen (Tina) of Clarksville, Steve Lewellen (Stephanie) of Charlestown, her daughter, Becky Coulter (Paul) of Louisville, her step-daughter, Lou Ann Stahly(Paul) of New Market, Indiana, her brothers, Sonny Jones, Jr. (Charlotte) of Otisco, Larry Jones of Otisco and her sister Coleen Dabney (Deb) of Marysville, Indiana. Verda also leaves behind 20 loving grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
