Travis Harrison , 46, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Clark Memorial Hospital.  He was a graduate of New Albany High School, a self-employed landscaper, avid gardener and musician.  Travis loved horses and performed trick roping.  He also loved country music and performed with Conway Twitty, at local jamboree's, on Catch a Rising Star, and was a finalist in a future artist competition hosted by Loretta Lynn.  He was a frequent call-in guest for talk radio shows, including Rush Limbaugh and Michael Medved.  Travis was also a generous and extremely loving person, who often worked caring for the elderly.  Travis was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Harrison and Janice Shields, step-father Johnie Shields, grandparents, Lt. Col. Kermit Housel, Beatrice Housel, Leo Harrison, Jessie Harrison, and step-sister, Jennifer Harrison.  Surviving are his loving wife, Linisa Harrison, daughter, Katlyn Heintz, step-brothers, Steve Shields, Buddy Shields, Bradley Combs, sister, Christina Harrison, a grandson and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.  Cremation was chosen by the family and a celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
