Tom "Slick" Staley , 65, entered eternal life on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on January 11, 1957 to the late Sam and Nancy Staley (Pendygraft). Slick honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from Voluforms in 2020 where he worked in sales. Slick attended church services at Northside Christian Church of New Albany. He loved music. He could be found playing the drums and attending concerts in his free time. Slick was an avid IU basketball fan.

Survivors include his loving wife, Janet Staley of Sellersburg, Indiana, his daughters, Beth Brown (Josh) of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, Mindy Bush (James) of Underwood, Indiana, Kristie Dawson (Jeff) of Jeffersonville, Indiana, his brother, Craig Staley of Clarksville, Indiana and his 2 sisters, Theresa Clampitt (Troy) of Sellersburg, Sara Eckert (Phil) of Lexington, Kentucky. Slick also leaves behind 7 grandchildren to cherish his memory, Danielle Brown, Logan Brown, JT Bush, Luke Bush, Cooper Bush, DJ Dawson and Case Dawson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Monday from 11:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
