Thomas Lee Middleton , 78, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at his home in Otisco, Indiana. He was born on September 9, 1938 to the late Walter and Ethel Middleton in Dizney, Kentucky. Mr. Middleton retired from the Army Ammunition Plant in Charlestown, Indiana where he worked as a pipe fitter. In his spare time he provided mechanic services from his garage located on Edgewood Drive. People would bring their vehicles from near and far for him to repair. Mr. Middleton was an avid deer hunter, loving husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his son, Trevor Middleton, his brothers, Alonzo, James, Shirley and Parnell Middleton, his sisters, Asizlee Hislip, Louise Stanley, and Beatrice Middleton.

Survivors include his loving wife Carol Middleton of Otisco, Daughters, Teresa Scott (Keith Baird) of Charlestown, Twana Middleton of Otisco, his son, Thomas "Buddy" Middleton of Charlestown, his brothers, Billy Ray Middleton of East Tennessee, his sisters, Doris Sindelar of Charlestown, and Freda Middleton of Lexington, Indiana,  grandchildren, Marlena, Samantha, Jeremy and Tommy.  Mr. Middleton also leaves behind four great grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Morgan and Ryan. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
