Terry Emma Gillenwater Fricke was born on July 6, 1945 and peacefully departed this life and entered her eternal heavenly home on June 9, 2026. Surrounded by God’s love and grace, she completed her earthly journey and was welcomed into everlasting peace.

Throughout her life, Terry embraced many adventures and traveled by ship, airplane, bus, subway, and automobile. Her final journey however was one of faith, as she was carried on angel’s wings to her heavenly home.

Terry will be remembered for her love of family, her strength, and the kindness she shared with those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and is survived by her loving children, JoAnn Gosselin and her husband Mike, Jeanette Torres and her husband Mike, David Fricke and his wife Michelle, and Teresa Frye and her husband Chris. Along with her friend and companion Paul Butler.

She was also blessed with 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy throughout her life.

Garr Funeral Home 7806 Hwy 311, Sellersburg has been entrusted with her arrangements.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.

Her funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
