It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Terrell Lee Carter, who departed this life peacefully on Sunday, June 28th, 2026, at the age of 52. Terrell was born on Thursday, May 9th, 1974, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and was a cherished resident of Charlestown, Indiana.

Terrell was a devoted son, brother, and uncle, remembered for his unwavering love for his family. He was the beloved son of Sharon Carter and was a caring brother to his sister, Angela Slone. Terrell's warm and generous spirit also extended to his niece, Brittney, and his nephews, Brent and Chris, all of whom he adored deeply.

In his professional life, Terrell was a dedicated laborer, known for his hard work and reliability. Away from work, he found joy in the simple and meaningful activities of life. He had a lifelong passion for music, with a special fondness for classic rock that resonated deeply with his spirit. Terrell was also an avid sports enthusiast, both on the field and as a fan in front of the television. His love for baseball was matched only by his enjoyment of eating out and the joy he found in visiting his sister Angela at her place of work at Sam's.

Terrell's presence will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and devotion will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
