Teddy Ray Jackson, 78, was born December 12, 1944 in Borden IN to Eunice Potts Jackson and Tommy Jackson.  Teddy was the oldest son of seven boys, (Tommy, Tony, Terry, Troy, Timmy, Tracy and one sister, Kitty.  He was wed Feb. 13, 1965 to Lucille Stearman, during this union of 54 years they had two children, Dana Marie Browning (Wade) of New Port News and Michael Ray Jackson (Amy) of Corbin KY. Ted also has one granddaughter Rachel Logan Jackson and Great grandson Wilder Haze Jackson.  Teddy graduated William M Borden high school in 1962 where he enjoyed playing basketball.   He was of the Baptist Faith.  He went on to work with LN railroad being transferred to Corbin KY where he retired from CSX as a welder/pipe fitter. Ted loved spending time with his family, especially when a good meal was cooked!  Ted loved to laugh and joke with everyone, he never met a stranger.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Olive Branch Cemetery in Pekin, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the service at the funeral home.
