Susan Elaine Chepa , 63, entered eternal life on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at her home in Borden, Indiana surrounded by her family. She was born on August 27, 1959 to Paul and Patricia Coffman (Canary) in Salem, Indiana. Susan was a retired bookkeeper and a member of the Chapel Hill Christian Church of Borden. Susan enjoyed reading and traveling. Her most memorial destination was Nova Scotia. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Coffman, Sr.

Survivors include her loving husband, Hollis Chepa of Borden, Indiana, her son, Paul Chepa of Borden, her daughter, Rachael Jones of New Albany, Indiana, her mother, Patricia Coffman of Borden,  her brother, Gene Coffman (Sue) of Plymouth, Michigan,  and her sisters, Tara Koerber (Bob) of Lanesville, Indiana and Tracy Coffman-Book (David) of Borden. Susan also leaves 4 grandchildren to cherish her memory, Colt, Kinsley, Maverick and Zayne Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the  funeral home from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
