Stephen "Jake" Allen, 55, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at his home.  He was employed at Diesel Injection for 33 years and also a self-employed family farmer.  Jake was a loving father, husband, son and grandpa.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Evelyn and Wallace McRae, Mary and Russell Allen and an uncle, Greg Allen.  Surviving are his loving wife, Elise Allen, parents, John and Virginia Allen, sons, Aaron (Niki) Allen, Adam (Kate) Allen, sister, Lisa (Buddie) Day, great-aunt, Ruth Druin, 10 grandsons and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.  Cremation was chosen by the family and a celebration of life will be held Friday from 5-8PM at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
