Stephanie Lynn King , beloved daughter, cherished mother, and dear friend, passed away peacefully in Danville, Kentucky on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the age of 54. Born on a warm summer day in Lexington, Kentucky, on July 31, 1970, Stephanie's journey through life was marked by love, dedication, and a vibrant and enduring spirit that touched all who knew her.

At an early age, Stephanie's love for music was kindled, and playing the piano quickly became a way of life for her. This passion for music, along with her natural talent for drawing, remained a constant source of joy and creativity throughout her life.

After completing her education, Stephanie embarked on a career as a Certified Nurse's Assistant, where her compassion for others shone brightly. She later joined S.K. Wilson and Associates as an Environmental Specialist, a role in which she dedicated herself to the betterment of our world, embracing the values of care and stewardship.

Stephanie was dedicated to her family and is survived by her loving mother, Phyllis Pooler; her devoted aunt, Cheri Bagley; and her three children, Dakota Doren, Alicia King and Joseph King. Her children were the light of her life, and she leaves them with the legacy of a caring and nurturing heart. Stephanie's close bond with her lifelong friend, Sharon Wilson, brought much joy and comfort to her life.

Stephanie is preceded in death by her cherished grandparents, Samuel A. Pooler and Elica Pooler, who left an indelible mark on her character and values.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Stephanie's life on Monday, May, 5 2025, at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172). Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm, where stories of Stephanie's life will be shared, her love cherished, and her legacy honored. She will be laid to rest at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park following the service.
