Shirley May Potts , 72, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville. She was born on July 15, 1944 in San Diego, California to the late James and Francis Sharp. Mrs. Potts was a member of the Sojourn Community Church in New Albany. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Sharp and her Grandmother Muir Ferguson. Mrs. Potts leaves behind her husband of 53 years, Dean Potts of Borden, her son Kevin (Cindy) Potts of New Albany, her daughter Michelle (Darren) DeHate of Sellersburg, her grandsons, Tyler (Amy) DeHate, Trent (Andrea Wright) DeHate, Hunter Potts  and her granddaughter Kelsey Potts.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Borden.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11 A.M. until 8 P.M. and from 10A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday.
