Sellersburg, Indiana

Shelby E. Osborne, 80, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at University of Louisville Hospital.  He retired from General Electric after 38 years, a member of the Sellersburg American Legion Post #204 and the Sellersburg Moose Lodge.  Shelby was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Osborne, brothers, James and Willard Osborne, sisters, Edna Hackel, Evla Lawson, Betty Blaire, Zelma Newby and half-sister, Hazel Jones.  Surviving are, sons, Jerry Osborne, Sellersburg, Steven (Marlissa) Osborne, Memphis, Brian (Georgia) Osborne, Borden, brothers, Kenneth (Norma) Osborne, Sellersburg, Dempsey Osborne, Lovelan, Ohio, seven grandchildren and two, great-grandchildren.  Cremation was chosen by the family.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
