Sharry Diane Gault, a cherished resident of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20th, 2025, at the age of 71. Born in New Albany, Indiana, on Wednesday, June 23rd, 1954, Sharry lived a life full of love, dedication, and selflessness.

Sharry was a beloved bus driver for the West Clark School System, where she not only transported students safely but also left an incredible mark on the lives of countless children. Her affection for the children she drove was profound, and she cherished every moment spent with them. In her earlier years sharry worked in a payroll position.

Family was at the heart of Sharry's life. She is survived by her mother, Lula Heeke, her sister Paula Shrout and her husband Marvin, her devoted son Troy Edward Eugene Colvin, her nephew, Tyler Shrout, her niece Taylor "Lucie Bell" Shrout, and her beloved grandchildren Blake and Savanah Colvin. Sharry celebrated her family and embraced her role as a mother, aunt, and grandmother with a fierce and unwavering love.

Sharry was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Heeke, and her beloved spouse, Billy Gault. Her memory will remain a guiding light for those who survive her.

Sharry had a knack for square dancing and found great joy in attending cheer competitions with "Lucie Bell". She had a passion for travel, with her most memorable trip being to the beautiful island of Aruba. Above all, Sharry loved her family deeply and always prioritized their happiness and well-being.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
