Sharon Everitt , 83, entered into eternal life of May 31, 2023 at her home in Sellersburg. She was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana on December 28, 1939, to the late Albert and Rose Kahl. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Joanna Grimm and her grandson Cole Grimm. Sharon was a beloved employee of 40 years at Silver Creek High School, where she was awarded the Legacy of Theatre and Hall of Fame awards for her dedication to the students and faculty. She was a member of St. John Paull II Catholic Church, and a proud Democrat. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 67 years, Roy Everitt; son Albert Everitt; granddaughter Megan Grimm and numerous relatives and friends who will miss her very much.

Roy and Al would like to thank Sharon's caregivers, Dawn, Melissa, Lisa, and Jennifer who were her angels.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (2253 W. St. Joe Rd, Sellersburg, Indiana) with interment to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Garr Funeral Home (7806 Hwy 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172).
