Roslyn Ann Walton , 86, passed away on during the evening hours of Thursday, November 12, 2020 at River View Village in Clarksville, Indiana. She was born at home on August 23, 1934 to the late Gerald and Mildred Faurote (Reese) in Brookville, Indiana.  Roslyn retired from General Electric with over 25 years with the company.  She was a former member of the Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany. Roslyn enjoyed painting, sewing, quilting and spending quality time with her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cynthia Blackman Jorgensen, by her grandson, Mark Blackman and by her sister, Betty Lucas.

Survivors include her son, David Walton, Sr. (Jenni) of Sellersburg, daughters, Ardith Hoke (Marvin) of Vero Beach, Florida, Roberta Newlon of Salem, Indiana, Brenda Lemmons (Gary) of Henryville, Indiana, her brother, James Faurote (Nancy) of New Castle, Indiana and his sister, Cheryl Sterling of Pelham, Alabama. Roslyn also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with entombment to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be on Monday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
