IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald "Ronnie"
Glenn Cole
January 16, 1956 – December 14, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald "Ronnie" Glenn Cole, who departed this life on Sunday, December 14th, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on Monday, January 16th, 1956, in Scottsburg, Indiana, Ronald was a beloved resident of Charlestown, Indiana, where he touched many lives with his warm spirit and infectious humor.
Ronnie dedicated his life to his craft as a skilled carpenter, building not only homes but lifelong friendships along the way. A former member of the Charlestown Anglers and a proud member of the American Eagles of Jeffersonville, Ronnie's passions extended far beyond his work. An avid lover of the outdoors, he spent countless hours fishing and hunting, finding solace and joy in nature's beauty. His love for the great outdoors was only matched by his enjoyment of the game of pool, along with his love of his cherished westerns and WWE wrestling matches, which he enjoyed watching with his faithful Pomeranian dog, Mitzie, by his side.
Ronnie legacy lives on through his loving wife, Jeannie Cole, and his adoring family, who fondly remember him not just as a husband and father but as a guiding light in their lives. He is survived by his daughters Shawna Fancher (Paul), Rhonda Seng (Will), and Jordan Cole, as well as his grandchildren Morgan Jones (Ryan), Macy Eldridge, Tenley Moore, Ashlyn Sieckert (Tyler), Lynex Seng, Kysn Wilson, Kylie McAfee, and Kendyl Cole, Bellami Crum and his step- grand daughter, Haley Seng, all of whom will continue to carry his spirit forward. He was also blessed to be a great-grandfather to Bronx Jones and Hallie Jones.
Ronnie cherished his large extended family. He leaves behind his siblings, including Tommy Cole (Michael), Lynn Hodge (Gary), Connie Moore, Patty Crank (Bill), Darleen Galloway (Scott), and Billy Jeffries (Denice), Missy McDaniel. His step-siblings, Freddie Jeffries, David Jeffries, Kathey Skaggs, Debbie McMann, and Shirley Costello also mourn his passing, as do the numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will always remember him fondly.
He was predeceased by his loving mother, Bonnie Geneva Jeffries, his brother John Pepper Cole, his sister, Tammy Daniels and other cherished family members. Ronnie's departure leaves a void that can never truly be filled, but his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
