IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Roger Dale
Potts
March 10, 1954 – January 3, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roger Dale Potts, age 71, of Clarksville, Indiana, who left us peacefully on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026. Roger was born on March 10th, 1954, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Norman and Stella Potts.
Roger was a man of immense strength and the softest heart, known for his mechanical skill and dedication to his craft. Throughout his career, he lent his skills as a mechanic to Kaufman Concrete and US Steel, leaving a legacy of hard work and ingenuity.
His passion for cars and trucks, particularly those bearing the Mopar badge, was a defining trait. A lifelong enthusiast, Roger was well-known for his ability to build engines and fix anything, a love that he passed on to his family. His grandson Donovan's first word, "Chrome," is a testament to this shared love.
Roger also enjoyed the freedom of the open road, often accompanied by his beloved wife, Charlene "Sherry" Sue Potts, on motorcycle rides that exemplified their shared spirit of adventure. His affection for his John Deere riding mower was known by all.
Roger is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Potts. He leaves behind treasured memories with his daughters, Cynthia Elmore (Doug) and Tiffany Booth (Jonnathon), and sister, Jeanie McCaffery, his brothers, Larry Potts and Randy Potts (Margie).
