Sellersburg, Indiana
ROBERT F. COX, 83, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at University of Louisville Hospital. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy, retired from General Electric after 41 years, a member of the V.F.W #1832 and was of the Methodist faith. Robert was preceded in death by a son, Dean Cox, a great-grandson, Avery Dean and a sister, Lavon Tate.
Surviving are:
Loving Wife: Waunda Cox, Sellersburg, Indiana
Son: Robert Douglas (Ginger) Cox, Floyds Knobs, Indiana
Daughter: Charlene "Sis" (David) Ross, Clarksville, Indiana
Brother: Caroll Douglas Cox
Eleven, Grandchildren
Twelve, Great-Grandchildren
Funeral services will be held 10AM Monday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with entombment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society.
