Sellersburg, Indiana

Robert "Bob" Campbell, 80, entered eternal life on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Traditions at Hunter Station.  He retired from Sellersburg Police Department after 28 years of service.  Bob was a member of the Sellersburg Church of Christ for 74 years also serving as an elder, past President of Fraternal Order of Police, Chief of Security at Clark Memorial Hospital for 14 years and served on Board of Directors at Maple Manor Christian Home Adult and Children's Divisions.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Nora Griswold, his mother, Ruth Satterly and a half-brother, Doug Satterly.  Surviving are his loving wife, Judith Campbell, Sellersburg, daughter, Allyson (Rick) Threlkel, Memphis, sons, Robbie Campbell, Sellersburg, Steve Campbell, New Albany, daughter, Elizabeth Martin, Memphis, brother, Michael Satterly, LaGrange, sister, Bonnie Roederer, Louisville, nine  grandchildren and five, great-grandchildren.   Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Wednesday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
