RICHARD HERNDON, JR., 61, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.  He was currently employed at FireKing in New Albany and a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Sellersburg.  In his younger days, Richard played in many local bands.  He was an extremely loving grandfather.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Sr. and Margie.

Wife:                           Mildred Herndon, Sellersburg, Indiana

Step-Daughter:         Debbie Swift Davis, Louisville, Kentucky

Sister:                         Elaine Herndon Wooten, Pekin, Indiana

Granddaughters:      Morgan and Lauren Davis

Several Nieces and Nephews

Funeral services will be held 11:AM Monday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.  Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Monday.
