Paul E. Coffman, Sr., 85, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 in New Albany , Indiana .  He retired from Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville , served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, 101st Airborne Division, a member of the Masonic Lodge #416 in Greenville , American Legion Post #28 in New Albany and VFW.  Paul was a member of the Chapel Hill Christian Church and attended the United Methodist Church in Borden.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace Coffman, his brother, Dr. John Coffman, Jr. two sisters, Colleen Ginkins and infant sister Roberta Louise.  Surviving are his loving wife of 65 years, Patricia Coffman, Borden, son, Dr. Paul "Gene" (Sue) Coffman, Jr., Plymouth, Michigan, daughters, Tara (Bob) Koerber, Lanesville, Susan (Hollis) Chepa, Borden, Tracy (David) Book, Borden, sister-in-law, Norma (Roy) Scott, Greenville, grandchildren, Michael Koerber, Brian Koerber, Dr. Stephany Coffman-Wolph, Rachael Jones, Paul Chepa, Dr. Brittany Newell, Elias Book and eleven, great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 1PM Monday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Borden.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8PM and anytime after 11AM until the time of service on Monday.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
