Patty Ann Schenck , 76, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Sellersburg Health and Rehab. She was born on October 6, 1941 to the late Vannus and Edria Basinger in Pueblo, Colorado.  She is survived by her sons, Dale Schenck (Shelly) of Arnold, Missouri, Darryll Schenck (Laura) of New Albany, Indiana, DaWayne Schenck of Cordova, Tennessee, her brothers, Van Basinger (Sherry) of Clackamas, Oregon, Ron Basinger (Connie) of Layton, Utah, Jerry Basinger of Citrus Heights, California, her sister, Rita Nordoff (Ed) of Palmyra, Indiana. Mrs. Schenck also leaves behind six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, Indiana. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis Missouri. The graveside service will begin at 1:15 P.M. Central Time.
