Patricia LaVonne Farmer , 68, went to be with her heavenly Father on Sunday, November 19, 2017. She was born on February 22, 1949 to the late Parker and Ruth Lund in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Since retiring in 2007 Mrs. Farmer was a home maker and an active member of the Sellersburg First Baptist Church where she taught the Ladies Bible Class. She had the calling to spread the word of the Lord and spent a large amount of time doing evangelical work at the local jail in Columbus, Indiana and the Correctional Facility located in Madison, Indiana. Mrs. Farmer enjoyed reading the Bible, spending time with her grandchildren and working in her flower garden. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Farmer Sr.; her grandson, Clayton Hail; her sister, Sandra Neighbors; and her brother, Michael Lund.
Survivors include her son, William Farmer, Jr. of North Carolina; her daughter, Michelle Mauck (Jeff) of Indiana; her brothers, Kevin Lund; Gerald Lund and grandchildren, Kyle, Alexindra, Courtney and Diesel. Mrs. Farmer also leaves behind two great grandsons, Tanner and Vincent
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to take place at 1:00 P.M. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Selby County, Indiana. Visitation will take place on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
