Opal Baird Zimbro, 82, entered eternal life on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.  She retired from Colgate Palmolive and enjoyed quilting.  Opal was preceded in death by her parents, Pryor and Belle Baird, five brothers and one sister.  Surviving are her sons, George (Debbie) Zimbro, Charleston, South Carolina, Keith (Mary) Zimbro, High Point, North Carolina, Robert (Maria) Zimbro, Charlestown, Indiana, ten grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Friday.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
