CLARKSVILLE, INDIANA

OPAL HUFFMAN , 89, entered eternal life on Monday, February 8, 2016, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville. She served as a faithful servant at the Sellersburg First Baptist Church for 55 years, ministered as secretary for 40 years, Sunday School Teacher and Senior Adult Coordinator. Opal was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse Huffman, three siblings, James (Frauline) Wilkinson, Addie (Lawrence) Broady and Stanley Wilkinson.

Daughters: Jessica (Jerry) Conner, Jeffersonville, Indiana

Joy (Doug) Comingore, Floyds Knobs, Indiana

Grandchildren: Cari (Greg) Sumler, Alex Huffman, Kelsey (Josh) Goderwis, Jenna (Sean) Page, Julia Conner, Jacob Carpenter, Hannah (David) Coffman, Laken Comingore, Spencer Comingore, Macie Comingore and Lindsey Davis

Great-Grandchildren: Courtney, Ryan, Brooke, Owen, Kaylie, Emylie, Aaliyah and Beckham

Brother-in-law: Jerry (Linda) Huffman

Sister-in-law: Mary Wilkinson

Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday at the Sellersburg First Baptist Church with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8PM Tuesday at the Garr Funeral Home and anytime after 9AM Wednesday until the time of service at the church.
