Myrtle Ruth Lewellen, 89, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at River Crossing Assisted Living in Charlestown, Indiana. She was born on July 21, 1927 to the late Herman and Ethel Zollman in Otisco, Indiana. Myrtle was a self employed beautician, who served the Sellersburg area for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Estin Lewellen, and fourteen siblings. Myrtle is survived by her son, Ervin (Pam) Lewellen, Henryville, daughter, Linda (Bill) Crady, Louisville, sister, Sylvia Schlecty, Salem, Indiana, grandchildren Kevin Lewellen, Renee L. Curtis, and one great-grandchild, Kylee Lewellen.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday June 21, 2017 at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Henryville. Visitation will be on Tuesday at the funeral home from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. and anytime from 9 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
