Sellersburg, Indiana

Mildred "Millie" Byers, 89, entered eternal life on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Rolling Hills Nursing Home in New Albany.  She retired from West Clark School System after 28 years as Cafeteria Manager and a member of Eastside Christian Church in Jeffersonville.  Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Byers, sister, Helen Byers and brother-in-law, Roy Byers.  Surviving are, daughter, Suzann Byers, Sellersburg, granddaughter, Megan Byers, Jeffersonville, grandson, Cameron Stephens, Sellersburg and her beloved little brown dog, Missy.  Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 12Noon-5PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Monday.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
