Michael A. Pope , 44, entered eternal life on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Clark Memorial Hospital follow a short illness. He was born on March 6, 1979 in New Albany, Indiana. Michael enjoyed his cars and training dogs. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Evelyn Friedel and by his uncle Perry Pope.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Cole, his brother, Matthew Bethards, his sisters, Danielle Pope, Trisha Pope and his aunts, Cynthia Plowman (Stoney), Janice Sweet (Bob) and Susan Nalley (Paul).

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana).
