Floyds Knobs, Indiana

Michael W. Peay, 66, of Floyds Knobs, IN died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015. He was retired from the US Postal Service after 42 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Navy, and was also a member of the Rotary Club of New Albany and St. John's Catholic Church. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Renn Peay, his children: Wendy Hubbs (Chuck), Davy Boha (Steve), John Peay (Marna), Ashley Balmer-Dones (Corey), Joseph Peay and Darren Oglesby and his adored grandchildren, Luke and Jenna Boha, Jackson and Caden Balmer, McCoy Dones, Chaz and Cassidy Hubbs, Brenn and Laken Peay, Ryan Hubbs, and Meghan Brakmeier. He is also survived by sisters Marlene Howlett, Donna Wilson, and Kathy Melton. Because of his loving, giving and charismatic personality, he was loved and will be missed by his entire extended family and many friends.

Visitation at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, on Sunday from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. and burial mass at St. John's Catholic Church in Starlight Indiana on Monday, at 11:00 A.M. Expressions of Sympathy can be made to Haven House Services, Jesus Cares at Exit 0 or the Salvation Army.
