Michael D. Newlin , 45, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020 in Borden, Indiana. He was born on November 30, 1974 to Michael and Brenda Newlin in New Albany, Indiana. He was a resident of Borden and a Maintenance worker for McDonalds.  He thoroughly enjoyed riding motorcycles, his playstation 4 and spending time with his grandchildren. Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Valorie Lee.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Newlin of Borden, Indiana, his son, Christopher Newlin of Salem, Indiana, his daughter, Bridget Raisor (James) of Scottsburg, his mother, Brenda Lee (Phillip) of Pekin, Indiana, his father, Michael Newlin (Jill) of Columbus, Indiana,  sisters, Michelle Sowder (Scott) of Salem, Indiana, Lisa Fallova of Hollywood, Florida, Lindsey Asher (Jessie) of Columbus, Indiana and Amanda Burden (Glen) of Columbus, Indiana. Michael also leaves behind 6 grandchildren to cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Miller Cemetery in Borden. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.   Memorial contributions can be made to Garr Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
