Sellersburg, Indian formerly of Charlestown

Michael Eugene Howard, 84, entered eternal life on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at his home.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army.  Mike retired from the Army Ammunition Plant after 36 years and was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Joe Campus).  He was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia, Helen, Joan, brothers, Jim and Jack and a son, Greg.  Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years, Sue Carol Howard, sons, David, Brian and Christopher, daughter, Susan, brother, Frank, sister Margaret Streets, three grandchildren and one, great-grandchild.  A Funeral Mass will be held 12Noon on Tuesday at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Joe Campus) with burial to follow at St. Joe Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 5-8PM at the Garr Funeral Home.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
