Obituary

Michael F. Faschingbauer, 68, entered eternal life on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on September 19, 1954 in Key West, Florida to the late Michael Paul and Mary Ann Faschingbauer (DeMers). Michael honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He was an Aircraft Mechanic for United Parcel Service and a private pilot. Michael attended Anoka Technical College and earned his degree from Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University. He attended church services at St. John Paul II Catholic Church and was a member of the American Legion Post 204. Michael was a Teamster with Local 2727 and a former Safety Committee Chairman at UPS. He was a member of multiple Amateur radio clubs throughout the years. Michael was preceded in death by his nephew, Roger Philip.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Faschingbauer of Charlestown, Indiana, his brother, Patick Faschingbauer of Fridley, Minnesota, his sister, Barbra Philip (Roger) of Rochester, Minnesota, his nieces and Nephews, Nicolle Cutright, Katie Pevehouse (Charlie), Aubree Pevehouse, Joey Melhorme and Vinny Cutright.

Military honors will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the honors at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Garr Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
