It is with intense sorrow that we acknowledge the passage of a righteous man. Meinrad Joseph Sprigler was granted a seat at the table of our Lord on November 30, 2020. Born on September 3, 1945 in New Albany, IN and raised on Floyds Knobs, Meinrad answered the call and served his country during the Vietnam conflict, as a member of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond & Gertrude (Schindler) Sprigler, brothers Roy & August Sprigler, and grandson Ethan Sprigler. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Beverly (Prather) Sprigler, his seven children, Melaine Tatgenhorst (Mark), Jennifer Murrihy (Micheal), Jeremy Sprigler (Molly Ryan), Miriam Flowe (Danny), Deborah Mayfield (Stephen), Naomi Sprigler, Adrienne Hill (Jared), and 14 grandchildren that loved him dearly. He is also survived by 3 brothers and 4 sisters, as well as a plethora of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Restoration Christian Church (11515 US-31, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172). Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
