Megan Arnold, a beloved and cherished member of the Sellersburg, Indiana community, entered eternity peacefully on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025, at the age of 41. Born on Tuesday, May 17th, 1983, in Louisville, Kentucky, Megan's life was a testament to service, love, and dedication to her family and community.

A proud graduate of Silver Creek High School, Megan achieved the honor of Salutatorian in the class of 2001. She furthered her education at Indiana University Southeast, earning her undergraduate degree in nursing in 2005. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue a Master's degree in Nursing from Spalding University, which she completed in 2009. Megan's career was marked by her unwavering commitment to pediatric care, first as a Registered Nurse at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, and later as a Nurse Practitioner at the University of Louisville Pediatrics.

Megan's faith and community involvement were central to her life. She was an active member of Southeast Christian Church and Sojourn Church until the pandemic and health issues made it difficult to attend. She found spiritual fulfillment and lifelong friendship through her church family. Megan's niece and nephew also held a special place in her heart. Whether it was attending cheer competitions or weekend baseball tournaments she prioritized supporting her babies.

Megan is survived by her loving parents, Jim and Anita McKinley; her devoted husband, Daniel M. Arnold; her cherished sister, Kristi Hunter (Perry); her niece, Madison Hunter; her nephew, Brandon Hunter; and her beloved fur-baby, Mollie. She is also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close family members. Megan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Kathryn McKinley, Lena and Willis Brown, and by her fur-baby, Millie.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
