Maurice B. Carter , 69, passed away on October 22, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on January 19, 1946 to Charles and Mary Carter in Hickman County, Tennessee. Maurice retired from Instron after 20 years of employment as a service technician. He was a member of the First Baptist Church located in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Maurice was preceded in death by both of his parents and two brothers Clay and Claude Baker.

Step-Son:        Eugene (Dana)  Ramey- Henryville, Indiana

Step-Daughter:           Jennifer Haverlah- Chattanooga, Tennessee

Sisters-                        Barbara Cooper- Charlestown, Indiana

Grandchildren:            Kay-Lee Carter, Courtney Carter, Katie Ramey, Kirsten Ramey, Mathew Thomas, Nick Haverlah, and Amber Haverlah

Close friend:   Mike McCutcheon- Jeffersonville, Indiana

Cremation was chosen to fulfill Maurice's wishes. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
