Mary D. (Dorothy) Hecker, 92, passed away Thursday April 7, 2016. She was born to Charlotte (Dowdle) and Max Horsley on July 1, 1923 in Louisville, Kentucky. Preceding her in death were husbands William Graham and James Hecker, sons Bill Graham, Harry Graham, Don Hecker, Tom Hecker, granddaughter Kim Graham and sisters Alberta Wilson, Betty Reynolds and brother Bill Horsley.

She is survived by two sons John Graham(Carolyn) of Georgetown, Indiana, and Jim Hecker (Connie) of Sun City, California, Daughters in law Gerri Graham, Karen Graham, Peg Graham, and Marcia Hecker. She has 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy is a member of St. John Paul II Parish in Sellersburg and attends the St. Paul campus. She worked at the Powder Plant in Speed and served as housekeeper and cook at St. Paul Rectory for 30 plus years. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, St. Paul's Choir, Ladies Club and the Quilters Group.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10 A.M. Monday April 11, 2016 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church, St. Paul campus with entombment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday April 10,2016 from 12-8 P.M. at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.
