Mary Ellen (Dold) Couch passed peacefully from this life at her home in Sellersburg, Indiana on Monday, September 14th, 2015.

Mary was born to Clarence and Margaret Dold on April 3, 1931 in Speed, Indiana.

Mary and Claude "Bud" Couch, Jr. were united in marriage on August 18th, 1949 in the Sellersburg Church of Christ.  They were blessed with 61 wonderful years of marriage.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Crystal, infant grandson Raphael and her husband Bud Couch.

She is survived by four children, Sherry Fuller (Bob) of Ft. Collins, Colorado,  Steve Couch (Cathy), Lanesville, Indiana, Charlott Couch (Urbano) Oak Park, Michigan and Anna Hamman (Ted) Memphis, Indiana.

Mary was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren that she loved dearly, as well as, her sister, JoAnna Couch and family.

Bud and Mary were lifelong dedicated members of the Sellersburg Church of Christ.

Mary retired from Kentucky Lithographing Company in 1987.  Bud and Mary enjoyed traveling throughout their lives and especially in retirement.   They both loved their families and built many special memories with us all.

Everyone who had the privilege to know Mary saw a living example of the virtuous woman spoken of in Proverbs 31:10-31:  "Her price is far above rubies".

We, as her family, were truly blessed to have had Mary and Bud Couch in our lives as examples of what a Christian family is.

There will be a memorial service in celebration of Mary's life at the Sellersburg Church of Christ on Saturday, September 19th at 11:00 A.M.  David Johnson officiating.  A reception will be held immediately after the service.
