Mark Anthony Yost, 72, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Norton Clark Co. Hospital after a long illness. Born on May 31, 1953 at St. Edward Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. Mark was the son of the late James R. (Bob) Yost, Sr. and Mary Frances (Henderson) Yost.

A 1971 graduate of Silver Creek High School and an Associates Degree in Auto Service at Ivy Tech in 1981.  Mark worked over 40 years at Haas Cabinet Co.  In the 1990's, he along  with several high school friends was part of a race car team that raced across the Midwest.

Preceded in death by his parents, Mark is survived by his brother, James R. (Bob) Yost II (Susan Yost), one niece, Brooke A. Yost Dupree and one nephew, Brian R. Yost (Caitlin) and 8 great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation and funeral services will be at St. John Paul II Catholic Church, 2253 W. St. Joe Rd., Sellersburg, Indiana on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 with the Funeral Mass occurring at 11:00 a.m.  Mark will be laid to rest at Kraft Graceland Memorial Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his honor to St. John Paul II Catholic Church,  Mass on the Air, or Amedisys Hospice
