Margaret A. Burton , 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Westminster Healthcare in Clarksville, Indiana. She was born on July 12, 1930 to the late John and Ena Hembree (Timpson) in Hanna, Indiana. Mrs. Burton retired from Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana where she worked as a clerk. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Burton and by her twin sister, Shirley Haulter.

Survivors include her sons, George Burton (Simin) of Lanesville, Indiana, Greg Burton (Denise) of Sellersburg, Indiana, Gary Burton (Carrie) of Henryville, Indiana, her daughter, Dr. Gayle Miller (Steve) of Grand Junction, Colorado, her brother, John Hembree (Imogene) of Gallatin, Tennessee, her sister, Jeanne Emerick of LaPorte, Indiana.  Mrs. Burton also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until to the time of the service at the funeral home.
