Mamie Pearl Farnsley, 60, entered eternal life on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Baptist Health Floyd.  She served in child care for 21 years at Highland Baptist Church and attended Northside Christian Church in New Albany.  Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, Milford and Kizzy Minton and two brothers, Bobby and Otis Minton.  Surviving are, her loving companion, Roger Banet, Georgetown, Indiana, son, Kaen (Justin) Blevins, Georgetown, Indiana, daughters, Tonia (William) Hardin, Clarksville, Indiana, Elena (Justin) Silliman, Memphis, Indiana, brother, Stanley Minton, Sellersburg, Indiana, sisters, Dorothy Lynch, Lucy Marsh, Roberta Lee, Jerry Standiford, Oakie Crawford, Sandy Farnsley grandchildren, Aerial (Patrick) Crocker, Eryn Hardin, Sophia Silliman, Forrest Silliman and one great-grandchild, Nolan Crocker.  Cremation was chosen by the family and a celebration of life will be held on Thursday from 3-7PM at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to gofundme.com/mamie-farnsley.com.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
