Maliyah LaVaughn Daniel , 23, entered eternal life on Friday, March 24, 2023 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born to Harmony Clayson and Titus Daniel on October 21, 1999 in Louisville. She was a resident of Jeffersonville, Indiana and a graduate of Clarksville High School. Maliyah worked at the Cracker Barrel restaurant, where she made very dear friends. She was an independent, caring and loving person. She worked hard at any task put in front of her. Maliyah's sweet smile was very contagious and would light up a room. She enjoyed music and her spur of the moment road trips, but her world revolved around her son and her momma.

Survivors include her son, Leland Daniel, her mother, Harmony Clayson, her father, Titus  Daniel, her siblings, Shanonna Bridges (Joshua), Lo'naya Daniel, Nehemiah Daniel and her grandmother, Banita Clayson. Maliyah also leaves behind many extended loved ones.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Bowery Cemetery in Memphis. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) to help the family with final expenses.
