Linda Darlene Strange , 75, entered eternity on November 6, 2024, at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on July 9, 1949, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late George and Sarah (Bagshaw) Casey.

Linda spent much of her life caring for others, both in her work and with her family. A retired housekeeper by trade, she was known for her dedication and compassion as a caregiver, looking after aging family members with love and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Linda found joy in gathering with friends to play bingo at the Knights of Columbus in Jeffersonville, where she made many cherished friendships over the years. Her warm heart and generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Deerborn and by her sisters, Betty Casey and Shirley Mattingly.

She is survived by her loving niece, Kathy Colwell and her son, Ralph Deerborn.

A memorial service to honor Linda's life will be held at a later date.
