Dr. Lawrence Louis Vornholt, Jr ., 78, passed away peacefully in his sleep with his wife by his side on Friday, September 25, 2020 at his home in Sellersburg, Indiana. He was born on December 31, 1941 to the late Lawrence and Margaret Vornholt (Sanders) in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Vornholt retired from his Dental practice that was located in Clarksville, Indiana.  He earned his undergraduate at Bellarmine University and his DMD at the University of Louisville Dental School. Dr. Vornholt was a member of the St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Paul Campus), the Knights of Columbus and the Kentucky Dental Association. He thoroughly enjoyed working with stained glass, constructing many beautiful peaces including lamps and windows. Dr. Vornholt was preceded in death by his son, Jason Vornholt.

Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Judy Vornholt of Sellersburg, his son, Trip Vornholt (Bethany) of Louisville and his daughter, Lianne Milten (Larry) of Branson, Missouri. Dr. Vornholt also leaves behind 3 grandchildren to cherish his memory, Caleb, Olivia and Henry Vornholt.

Due to the current pandemic situation a private Mass will be held at Mr. Vornholt's church with interment to follow at St. Joe Hill Catholic Cemetery in Sellersburg.
