IN LOVING MEMORY OF

June 30, 1963 – January 1, 2025
Lauri Ann Bamforth, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on a warm summer day in Syracuse, NY, on June 30th, 1963, Lauri's vibrant spirit and kind heart touched everyone she met.
Lauri made her home in Floyds Knobs, IN, where she worked as a dedicated service writer, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues and customers alike. Her genuine care for others extended beyond her work, manifesting in her lifelong dedication to nature and animals. Known for her green thumb, she delighted in feeding the birds and squirrels that graced her garden.
An artist at heart, Lauri found joy in expressing herself through various art forms. Her creativity knew no bounds, and her baked goods were as nourishing to the soul as they were delicious. Her dogs, especially her cherished Ellie, were like family to her, providing companionship and unconditional love.
Lauri was a fervent sports fan, proudly supporting the San Jose Sharks hockey team and cheering on the Syracuse Orange in college basketball. Whether she was attending a local craft fair, festival, or simply spending a Sunday afternoon with family, Lauri enjoyed every opportunity to connect with loved ones and community members.
Lauri is survived by her daughter, Katie Wolf (Casey), and her three brothers, David Sullivan (Kristie), James Sullivan, and Todd Talley, and several nieces and nephews.. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, James Sullivan, her cherished mother, Kathryn Talley, and her dear brother, John Sullivan.
Her family and friends will remember Lauri for her warmth, generosity, and infectious laughter. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and creativity that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Arrangements have been graciously provided by Garr Funeral Home. Lauri's family invites you to honor her memory in a way that would make her proud—by caring for others, nurturing nature, and cherishing every moment spent with family.
