Larry "Josh" Pierce , 40, entered eternal life on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the University Of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on July 10, 1981, to Larry and Kathy Pierce (Brewington) in Louisville, Kentucky. Josh was a talented stonemason by trade. He attended church at Northside Christian Church and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge of Sellersburg. Josh was the president of Oxford House Southern Indiana Chapter. He loved riding his motorcycle, fishing, boating, and hunting arrowheads. Josh loved his family and cherished the quality time he had with them. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Pierce, and by his sister, Theresa Townsend.

Survivors include his son, Joshua Josiah Pierce of Louisville, Kentucky his father, Larry Pierce of Sellersburg, Indiana, his 2 sisters, Angela Brewster of New Albany, Indiana, and Lacee Pierce of Sellersburg, Indiana. Josh also leaves behind 5 nieces and nephews to cherish his memory, Lacee Townsend, Sydney Brewster. Liam Young, Dallen Brewster, and Carter Townsend.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
