Larry W. Graf, a lifelong resident of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26th, 2026, at the age of 79 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. Born on February 6th, 1947, Larry lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a dedication to his family and community. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army, embodying the values of duty, service, and honor throughout his life. Larry worked at a private employment agency, where he was instrumental in helping people secure corporate employment opportunities. Later, he contributed his skills and dedication to production work at Nibco-Charlestown until his retirement. A man of varied interests, Larry was an avid admirer of basketball, with a particular fondness for Indiana University games. He found joy in simple pleasures, such as watching westerns and political channels. Larry also cherished time spent with family at Patoka Lake, enjoying the tranquility of boat rides on his brother's pontoon. His zest for life was evident in his love of dancing and playing pool. Larry is survived by his loving brother, Cletus Graf (Ann), and cherished sisters, Sister Dorothy Graf and Alice Graf. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Dorothy Graf, and his siblings, Robert "Elmer" Graf, Mark "Bud" Graf, Jim Graf, Dennis Graf, Alvin Graf, Ralph Graf, Martha Rake, and Sister Mary Mark Graf. The family extends special thanks to Lincoln Hills Senior Living for their exceptional care, especially to Marlena, Ann and Bridget. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Larry's life will take place at St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Sellersburg on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held at Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There will also be visitation on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the procession to the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Paul II Catholic Church (2253 W. St. Joe Road, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) or to the Sisters of St. Benedict (802 E. 10th Street, Ferdinand, Indiana 47532).
