Kenneth Leon Druin, 90, passed away on December 14, 2016 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville. He was born on August 28, 1926 to the late Alexander and Mattie (Green) Druin. Leon proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in World War II, was a lifelong farmer, and also retired from Louisville Cement Company, where he worked maintenance. He was a member of Bluelick Christian Church in Henryville, Indiana and he loved his farm, family and his tractors. Leon was preceeded in death by his wife Virginia Bailey Druin, granddaughter Melissa Gayle Swafford, 5 sisters, and 4 brothers.

Leon is survived by his son Terry (Dana) Druin, Memphis, his daughter Gayle (Thurman) Swafford, Memphis, sister, Mary Louise Hopwood, Memphis, grandchildren Elizabeth (Scott) Lee, Rebecca (Joe) Hinkle, and great-grandchildren Hannah, Rachel, and Jonathan Lee.

Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Saturday December 17, 2016 at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, Indiana, with burial to follow at Bowery Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 PM until 8 PM on Friday and any time after 9 AM until the time of service on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Bowery Cemetery, 405 Mayfield Road, Henryville, IN 47126.
