Karen Jane Gallman , age 70, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 in Sellersburg, Indiana. She was born on March 31, 1951 to the late George and Mary Jane Gallman (Prather) in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Karen was a member of the Sellersburg Church of Christ. She earned her Bachelors degree in interior design at Indiana State College. Karen worked for the United States Army Corps of Engineers as a Certified Interior Designer. She worked for the United States Government as a civilian employee for over 40 years. Karen was a talented quilter. She was a member of the Sew & Tell Quilting Guild.

Survivors include her brother, William "Bill" Gallman (Georgia) of Marysville, Indiana, her nieces and nephews, Will Gallman, Jr. (Theresa) of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, Anna Gallman of Indianapolis, Indiana, Susan Gallman (Andres) of Carmel, Indiana, Joshua Gallman of New Albany, Indiana, Jason Gallman (Ashley) of Sellersburg. Karen also leaves behind 5 great nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with entombment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the services at the funeral home.
