Funeral services for Joseph M. Roberts Sr., 82 of Chattanooga, TN will be at 11 a.m. Saturday April 23, 2016 at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, with burial to follow in Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home. He passed from this life on Monday, April 18, 2016 at NHC Rossville, GA.

He was born August 23, 1933 in Columbia, S.C. growing up in the Caroline Children's Home. He was a long time employee of Pillsbury Company working as the Human Resource Supervisor before his retirement.

Survivors include children Dr. Joseph M. Roberts Jr. and his wife Judy, of Cookeville, TN, David Roberts and his wife, Connie, of Polson, MT. and Jerry Roberts and his wife, Carol of Rossville, GA.; a sister in law, Sharon Coleman, of Terre Haute, IN.; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Etta Ruth Roberts; and daughter Wanda Quilliam
